Design by Ivan Munninghoff
Electric conversion: Owen White
Span: 39 inches
Area: 406 squares
Est. weight: 45 oz
Motor: Jeti 303
10 cells, 9x7 or 9.5x7 prop, 30 to 34 Amps
Approximately 120 watts/pound, 15 ounces/sqft.

The flounder: adapted from Munninghoff's design in Flying Models, June 2001.
E-calc is predicting 90 degree climb-out if I can keep it under 42 ounces. The
design using 1/8th ribs every 2 inches or so strikes me as overkill considering
what Gary Wright is doing with the E3D.

Flound-E parts were made using a basement CNC system. The drawings are downloadable
as a dxf file below. The CNC files are available on request.
